Biography
Damian Hughes was born and raised in Manchester. He played football as a schoolboy for Nottingham Forest and England before studying Classics at Leeds University.
He is a former football coach who worked for Bobby Charlton and Manchester United before working as a Human Resource Director for Unilever. He has worked in Europe, America and Africa. He has written two books about the principles of success (Liquid Thinking) and great leadership (Liquid Leadership) and an award winning biography of the great boxing superstar, Sugar Ray Robinson (Peerless).
He is also founder of the consultancy and training business, www.liquidthinker.com. His innovative and exciting approach in a wide range of sectors has been praised by Sir Richard Branson, Muhammad Ali, Jonny Wilkinson and Sir Alex Ferguson.
He also works as a leader, coach and volunteer at the Collyhurst and Moston Youth Club in Manchester and he lives in Manchester with his wife Geraldine.
